Instagram Engagement Growth Tips within 30 min

Hey everyone, if you are wondering about the title and thinking it may be a typo, it is not. Gone are the days when we believed that we need to be active on the platform for hours and hours to grow your Instagram Engagement. The whole Instagram Engagement hack is strategic and today I am going to share the most important hacks to grow your Instagram that will bring some real changes to your insights. And yes, you don’t need more than 30 minutes to make it happen.

As you have stumbled upon my Blog, I am sure that you are someone who really wants to grow on Instagram and ready to do it. Cheers 😊, you are one step closer! Before proceeding, I highly recommend you go to your Instagram insights and take a screenshot. Do it, you will thank yourself later. Now, sit on a comfort corner of your house, take a cup of cappuccino, (if you are a coffee person, I personally prefer tea over coffee any day :P) and a pen and your notebook. Ready? I am probably sounding like a nut for making you do all these things while reading a blog!! But I really want you to implement all the strategies point to point while reading this post itself. Trust me, it will be a good exercise for you. Now, let’s get started!!.

The Game-changer Instagram engagement Hack within 30 min: 

I am breaking down the 30 minutes hack into 3 points below:

1#Engage on hashtags: List down 5 of your hashtags that you mostly use and follow them. Now, engage with two people from each hashtag who use the same hashtag. That means you are engaging with 10 new accounts from your niche. Well, when I say “Engage”, please note that I do not mean few likes and generic comments like, “So cool” or “Cute pic”. Leave some authentic comments with 3-4 sentences. Appreciate their efforts and tell them what you are liking the most about their feed etc. Send them a DM with some positive words and also introduce yourself. This will help them to notice you and you may earn a genuine, active and valuable follower. Let me share a quick format to send a DM:

“Hey dear,

Stumbled upon your profile just and I must say that you are doing an amazing job with your gram. The caption you write for each post is really very motivating and I want to thank you for sharing that positivity with us. 

By the way, where are you from? I am based in Pune, India and currently helping small biz owners to design their brand and build their online presence. I would like to know about you as well. 😊

This is just an example. If you are liking their cohesive feed, photographs, reels… go and appreciate them specifically. This strategy has been proven very successful.

Exercise: 

• Note down 5 hashtags that you use and which is aligned to your niche. Follow the hashtags and engage with two people from each hashtag.

2# Gain engagement on stories: Are you posting 10X stories everyday yet not able to see a significant growth? I can feel you because the same thing happened to me as well. It is really frustrating, isn’t it? But I figured out “Why am I lagging behind on stories?” Ask yourself three questions:

1. 1. Are you using all the story features that Instagram offers? Ex: Polls and questions?
   2. Are you reacting to your fellow Instagrammers stories? IT MATTERS. Because the Instagram algorithm loves when you are supporting and interacting.
   3. Are your stories visually attractable? If your answers are NO, I highly recommend you to make it YES. To make your stories look good, try Apps like: StoryArt, Canva, Unfold etc.

Please don’t ignore this saying “These are just the stories” if you really want to see a visible Instagram Engagement boost.

Exercise: 

• For Instagram story ideas, download my Freebie. Select an idea and post about it. 
• Open your Instagram and react to the stories of 5 people you can see at the top.

3# Engage with your competitor’s audience: I love this hack a lot as I have gained so many clients and are able to build a genuine connection using this tactic. When you engage with your competitor’s audience, they are most likely to revert.

Now, how can you find your competitor’s audience? Go to your competitor’s account, open the recent picture and look at the comments. Pick them up, go to their accounts and leave some spam likes, genuine comments, story reactions or a DM just like I mentioned in point 1. I follow this hack daily and by far this has never disappointed me.

Exercise: 

• Open 1 of your competitor’s account and recent post.
• Engage with 5 people who have commented on her/his post.

See? These tactics are not that time consuming, it’s clearly doable as you have just done it. Now, follow these exercises for 1 week at least and compare the insight with the screenshot you have taken before starting. I am sure following these hacks daily will definitely help you to boost your Instagram Engagement.
